Does anyone close to the action know if defenseman Derick Martin and right wingers Adam Paiement and Evan Shaw will be invited back to the rookie camp? Are they ECHL material at best or do any of them have a chance to stick with Hamilton?

I don't know if they are headed to the rookie tournament, but Evan Shaw is playing for Team USA's U-20 camp that is currently going on in Lake Placid. They played Team Finland the other day, with a win and a loss. Oskari Korpikari is there as well, but didn't score any points. They play again today.

Evan Shaw was the 86th ranked NA skater by CSB, so he has some decent skills according to some scouts. I did not hear his name mentioned at all in any of the development camp reports, so not sure if the Habs will be offering him a contract as a UFA. I guess we will have to wait and see for the list of invitees to the rookie camp and tourney. It should be out soon I would think.
