I just finished voting in the US General Election. The first time I voted in the US we used a hole-punch machine that caused hanging chad in Florida. The second time I voted in the US I used an electronic voting machine that was overly complicated, hard to review choices before final submission and left no trail for verification or recount. This time I was given the option of using a black bic pen on a paper form where I needed to fill a box next to my choice of candidate or measure. Easy! Safe! Clear! and you get a (I VOTED) sticker that gets you a free coffee at any Starbucks. Let's see how long it takes them to count the paper ballots?

Not looking good for McCain.
No wonder he tried to distance himself from Bush down the stretch. As did Gore in 2000, when he steered clear of anything "Clinton".
Any Republican following the Bush administration would have been swimming upstream.

At this point, Barbara, Jenna and Laura Bush are trying to distance themselves from............ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ............................................................."W".
