Well it looks like theres a problem with Linhart, I was on the London Knights message board, and they said tht Linhart has been released from the team. Even if he was on the team, he wouldn't have played much, but it seems he is gone, and I don't know where he is headed. I assume he went back to the Czech junior league, which may be a good thing for him.

Hopefully he goes back home and can show the form that convinced the Habs to make him our 2nd round choice.
Plus, this should give us alot more time to sign him.

On their website, they have their training camp roster and he isn't on it, so that does tend to confirm what folks are saying on their message board. I wonder where he will end up this season, hopefully somewhere where he can get more ice time than was afforded him in London last season, as they seemed to be favouring their young core of D'men from what I could gather.

Linhart can't make the Knights and Hudler will play for the Wings.

I forgot to mention this but last week Timmins mentionned in LaPresse that the Habs were very happy with Linhart's decision to go back home since this gives them all the time in the world to offer him a pro contract and they hope he can develop better in the Czech league.

Linhart can't make the Knights and Hudler will play for the Wings. You win some you lose some, and comparing past picks is a lot easier then actually making them. I will say the one good thing is that the Knights just might have the top defense in the OHL and one of the top in the entire CHL. Their defense is solid. I wonder why they ever traded for Linhart with the core they already had in place.

Linhart may still develop, it is still too early to assess what a few seasons back home can do to develop his confidence and his game. The point is that Tomas is going to come back to a crowded house in the defence prospect pool, with players like Beauchy, Hainsey, Bouillon, Archer, Shasby, Kornyeev (sp?), Korpikari, O'Bryne, Flood and hopefully MacLellan (if he is signed) all serving notice that the already crowded blue line isn't about to change any time soon. I like that blueline depth, and I like that Jarvis and Wilson will get their hands on them all first!!
