What'll it be?
Beauchemin and Archer are locks.
Hainsey and Bouillion will spend time in between.
Komisarek? Will we try to get him a Calder? It'd be a ncie thing to do, right before the lockout, but remember in Jackman's case (he filled in for Chris Pronger as No.2 Defencemen). He'd have to do well with Markov on the top line, and if my memory serves correctly, his Goals per Time On Ice when paired with Markov was not very good.
I'm hoping we keep Traverse, if only for depth on the defense. He has a small contract (which is rare nowadays), it isn't one-way, we can afford to lose him on waivers if the case arises, and he can't be as bad as last year, especially when playing in the AHL.
We do get 4 TB prospects on loan for the season, but we have yet to see who they are. And who knows, they might do to us what we did to the Utah Grizzlies: send prospects who are forever doomed to rot in the AHL until Montreal gets rid of them.
So what will the defense look like?

don't even mention Komo in the AHL .... Bouillon also has a 2 way deal. He should see some games in the AHL. and Traverse DOES have a one way deal.
