I have but one Christmas album, A Charlie Brown Christmas, but it may be the only one I need. Loved it so much I bought another Vince Guaraldi album, I could listen to that guy and his trio all the time.

oops . . . misnamed thread. Not Christmas CDs that you have [sorry Roke, though that is a classic . . . myu kids are tired of hearing it], but what did you get this year . . . maybe what you were expecting, maybe what you weren't. From the clip above: Genesis' 1971 "Nursery Crime" [had it on vinyl when it first came outl; have been looking for it for a dozen years]. I'll add to the list: the soundtrack to the Princess Bride -- Mark Knopfler laying down nice jazz. Normally get a handful more but we decided to cut back on consumerism this year [means I have to buy my own ;D ]

Since the dawn of the Ipod era I do not get or buy CDs anymore for myself... however I did purchase Miley Cyrus' new CD for my 5 yr old (shamelessly admits that it is pretty good)

Nursery Cryme? Now there's a blast from the past. The clip for the "Musical Box" prompted me listen to the record for the first time in many years. I also had to listen to Foxtrot for good measure.
The one CD I did get this Christmas was a Frank Zappa video featuring Apostrophe and Overnight Sensation. Not exactly Christmas music, but a must have for any Zappa fan...
