The RSL is getting ready to start the '03-'04 season. I think the season opens tomorrow if I'm not mistaken (maybe the day after if not). So the question will remain, will Kastsitsyn get ice time with CSKA? Will Korneev get traded from AK Bars and if not will he get enough ice time? Will Alex Buturlin continue to play well on the top line for Lada and can he do this with out Gorigenko (I never spell it right). Will Tarasov rebound?
Also will Krunchinin, Sidulov, do anything or remain forgotten. Anyway it's good to see a league get started. Good luck to our prospects especially Kasty who will have my full attention. I am trying to work something out with a guy in England who somehow has access to all Euro games. This guy has a impressive list of games on tape (Perezhogin, Puurula, Korpikari, just to name a few) but he wont sell only trade. I hope to work something out and get CSKA game or games if Kasty is indeed on the team. If I do get em you will hear all about it! Perhaps a tape tree could be setup, but that might be tough.
Also Korneev finished the U-20 tournament with just 1 goal and 1 point. But Russia won, and I think they never lost a game. A glimpse at the WJC's since it was against Finland, Sweden, and the Czechs.
