I think Ottawa wins that deal. A quality goalie and a 2nd rounder for an overrated player. Vermette just doesn't do it for me. He could be a Havlat type of guy, but can't put it together.

Ottawa fleeced Columbus, if you ask me. Maybe Vermette meshes with Nash and they boost each other's game, but I don't think that will happen. Nash operates on his own on the ice. Vermette of all people won't change that.
