The Bruins certainly want to go for it this year ... must be nice to have a GM like that.

Lashoff and Karsums for Recchi and a 2010 2nd pick
TB's 2nd pick could be high, too. But those two youngsters are studs.(well, maybe not Karsums, but I think he's good)

Dig dig dig.
Recchi gives them some veteran leadership to help the young forwards they have. I don't think he'll be asked to provide a lot of offense, but he will provide timely goals.
Boston has really struggled the last 15 games. They've lost as many as we had during that rough stretch. It's not getting much press though. Recchi may come in and stabilize things.

I'm going to break the COC now ...
It's actually hard for me now to hate the Bruins ... they have 2 of my top 5 favourite players on the team. (Ryder and Recchi) ....
.... C'mon Bob, give me something to be happy about today!!!

Love Mark Recchi. A consummate pro who is still productive at 41. I would have made a play for him as some insurance against our injured wingers (Tanguay, Lats) and if we end up dealing Higgins.
A great deal for Boston.

Old, old, old. (Being part of that club, I know of what I speak)
