Wouldn't have minded getting Morris (although he's not the type we want - you find it aggrivating when Komi puts himself out of position for a hit) I'm glad we didn't match what Sather put up.

Morris is very over-rated. Take it from someone who saw him play here in Calgary. He's overpaid and overrated.

Oh I am glad we didn't give up what Sather gave up ... but you are not going to convince me that Komi couldn't have fetched a decent roster player, a prospect and a first rounder ... if the Bouwmeester rumour is true and now Morris nets this ... well Komi can too ... Then we could turn around and use the cap space that he clears up to land someone like Arnott, or whoever, to supply grit and offense .... |

I've seen Morris dissed a lot on boards & on panel shows so I'm not surprised he didn't land in MTL.

I echo Marvin's sentiments. Not interested in this guy at all. and Sather once again proving he had little or nothing to do with the success of the Oielr's franchise as a GM (I thought he was a decent coach)
