why doesn't anyone on TSN talk about how small the Sabres are upfront?

The Sabres being just 5-5-2 since the trade deadline, I think the 1 point they lost vs Atlanta finally did it to them. 5 points back on 8th with just 6 games to go. They have to win out and then hope both we and Florida gets less than 50% of the points remaining.
I'm calling it. They're done.
It's officially a three-horse race for 8th, with the consolation prize being 7th place.

Yesterday on the FAN590 he declared 8th place was a 3 team race between MTL, FLA & Buffalo. This despite thefact that the Rangers are only 1 pont up on the Habs, 2 points up on the Panthers and that Buffalo was 6 points back when he made his declaration. Wonder what he thinks now. |

I have to admit he scored a nice one last night. He levelled Volchenkov in his own zone, took the puck down the wing & blasted one over Auld's shoulder. Take a look at it, I know you'll love it. |
