If I read the ticker right Carolina traded Justin Williams to LA for Patrick O'Sullivan & then flipped O' Sullivan to Edmonton for Cole

There's a 2nd pick that went from LA to Carolina to Edmonton to Buffalo (for Kotalik) too.
I hate this deal, because Cole is a Habs killer.

Not the same pick though .... one 2nd rounder was Calgary's, the other was Carolina's Carolina traded RW Justin Williams to Los Angeles for C Patrick O'Sullivan and Calgary's 2nd-round pick in the 2009 Entry Draft (previously acquired). Carolina traded C Patrick O'Sullivan and its 2nd-round pick in the 2009 Entry Draft to Edmonton for LW Erik Cole and Edmonton's 5th-round pick in 2009. Then Edmonton used Carolina's 2nd rounder ... Buffalo traded RW Ales Kotalik to Edmonton for Carolina's 2nd-round pick in the 2009 Entry Draft (previously acquired). |

I can't believe he's back in our conference again. I sure was happy to see him gone.
On the other hand I'm glad to see Williams go. I will always despise him for his stick work in that playoff series.
