An old favourite comes back in animated form. Premiering Sunday, April 19th, 7:30 p.m. EST on Global. I'm very fortunate to be providing the voices for three recurring characters and several incidental ones. My characters: Rupert McKenzie: their dim-witted law-enforcement cousin Coach Hall: their hockey coach Pierre Ledoux: one of the bullying brothers who knock Bob & Doug around the rink I know cartoons and comedy are very subjective taste-wise...as is all art....but the McKenzies have been a part of our pop culture for almost 30 years....so I thought I'd share. The Canadian cast recorded in Toronto last year, with Dave Thomas, Dave Coulier, et al patched in from L.A. 15 episodes so far....and I hope it takes off, eh..... Article

The Reverend from "Little Mosque on the Prairie" is in this too, according to the article you linked to. I'll have to write myself a note to watch this... and hopefully I won't find it a couple of days after it premieres

Congrats on that CH. Will tune in for sure. Judging by the cartoon it looks like a Family Guy kind of series. So you'll be working with Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. I best remember Moranis as the geek in Ghost Busters. Here's what I found on Wikipedia: In June 2008 it was announced that a new TV show Bob & Doug goes to air in Canada on Global Television on April 19, 2009. The first season will consist of 22 episodes. Rick Moranis will not be providing the voice of Bob McKenzie, in favour of former Full House star, Dave Coulier, but Moranis will be one of the series' executive producers. The show is being produced by Animax entertainment. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_and_Doug_McKenzie ) Continued success, CH. I'll tune in for sure. Cheers.

Another Little Mosque cast member, Neil Crone, is also in the show. He plays the blustery Scottish priest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So you'll be working with Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. The first season will consist of 22 episodes....hmmm....I hope that's correct. 15 have been recorded, and I've heard talk of 7 more. ------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for the nice words, folks.....

They're lucky to have you in the cast, CH. From the body of work I've seen you're a talented guy. That Archie Bunker kills.

RATS! I didn't get to watch it [and don't have a PVR]. Has it been uploaded online yet? Were you so great, CV, that they doubled your salary? Can I have your autograph?

It begins this Sunday, the 19th, at 7:30. After that, I would imagine it would be uploaded on Global's site, as are their other shows.

Good luck with this CH. Sounds like a lot of fun. I heard Coulier before & I found him pretty funny. He used to be on some silly sitcom & would occasionally wear a Wings jersey. Unusual back then to see hockey references on American TV.
