Nice to see Patrick Traverse get the game winning goal, hopefully he gets a call up later, he may be the missing piece to our cup run   |

In all seriousness, its nice to see Plekanec getting a shorthanded goal. Hopefully Jarvis is helping him with his defensive game and we could see him called up later in the year. Hes got some good offensive potential and doesnt seem intimidated by physical play for such a shot and stalky guy.

Traverse gets an assist in game 1, and game winning goal in second game. Maybe he has finally found his rightful place. He probably can be a very effective AHL defenceman.

I think Traverse is on a 4 game point streak..as I recall he had points in the last 2 games of last season... Patrick Traverse, AHL all-star ? LOL |

He's 6'4" and some foolish NHL GM might take him in trade if he has a great year in the AHL. I'd love to see him playing for Toronna, with Ribeiro skating circles around him after one of his patented giveaways. |
