DVD Copying

I have a nice sized DVD collection that I have accumulated over the years and they are starting to get pretty scratched up...the joys of lending dvd's out to your friends. I use to use DVD shrink w/Nero but over time I realized that it wasn't able to copy my newer encryted/protected DVD's (at $100 for band of brothers series I don't feel like paying that again for 1 DVD). I have done some searches on the net, but before I dish out some cash for some software I am wondering what you guys use. Free software is even better!
