ArticleSounds as if it'll be community service/house arrest instead of the max. 14 years. Still sorting this one out in my head. On one hand, you can understand why the elder would give contradictory evidence to protect his troubled child in court...seeing as both the son and the girlfriend were complicit in the meeting. On the other hand, if something had gone horribly wrong....that's a whole different story. Intent vs. Outcome. The old NHL story.

I love Guy, he remains one my true hero. but nobody is above the law. Same here. For about 5 years running he was the best in the league & I still get a chill watching highlights. I try not to judge. I have sons around the same age & if they were in trouble, I don't know what I would do.

I have sons around the same edge & if they were in trouble, I don't know what I would do. I have kids (a little younger, in their late teens). I know for a fact that I'd lie for them. Heck, I'd do a freakin' lot for them... Can't expect people to love them them unconditionally the way I do.
