The ECHL opened their season yesterday. Larrivee, Shasby and Michaud are all in the ECHL. So far Michaud has been solid, winning both games, giving up 1 goal yesterday and 1 goal today. Matt Shasby got a goal today in the 4-1 win for his first professional goal of his career.
Higgins and someone else could end up in Hamilton in the next week, which could add 2 more bodies to the ECHL. Marois, Thinel, Milroy, Archer could be canidates for demontion. Milroy and Archer have yet to play a game this season, and could either go back to juniors, the ECHL or continue to rid the bench.
Michaud had a .971 save % going into todays game.

If the goaltending keeps up the way it has been in the past 4 games, I wouldnt be suprised to see Michaud called up to help out the Dogs. I'd like to see Damphouse get a few starts, I think he could be a good starter, I guess he will get the start next game. I still dont see why Gainey hasnt bought out Traverse, it would end up saving GG 300k and make a spot for a guy like Archer to play. I dont know much about Marois or Thinel, but I'd rather see Milroy stay up and get a chance on the team. Hopefully Shasby keeps it up, and when the D problems in Hamilton are solved, hopefully we can see him up with the Dogs, he was pretty good at the rookie camp at Brebeuf.

I think Thinnel will take longer to wake up and develop than some of the others. I haven't given up on him. It's hard to give up on someone before their 26th birthday. As Rejean Gump said, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get!"

Someone told me that both Archer and Milroy are currently injured and thats why they have not been playing.

That makes sense to me. Both played well enough at Training camp that they shouldn't be sitting, unless they're nursing injuries.

Michaud gets shelled tonight, gives up 5 goals in a 5-3 loss. He was even pulled in the game, but not for very long. Matt Shasby picked up 2 assists and leads the team in scoring with 3 pts.
