It's a three-year contract. A heart and soul guy I will miss. Couldn't of asked more than he gave us the last two seasons. Even though he got his butt kicked almost every time he dropped his gloves he didn't hesitate to defend his teammates. I wished BGL had alittle more Nonstopolous in him. He ,Lappy and Lats formed a great ckecking line last season and on most nights it seemed they were our top line. www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=284713

He might work pretty well with Chad Larose.

I'm a bit surprised the Canes decided to go with both TKO and LaRose. They're pretty similar players, though LaRose has a bit more pop on his stick.

I'd say you're welcome, but you can owe the quote to Pierre on July 1. He commented on Scott's 16 goals last year and Chad's 19. Never mind the 30 extra assists Scott had, more Cup rings, etc.

How many sides does McGuire's mouth have? 30. One for each NHL market he visits.
I had the MLB Home Run Derby on in the background last night, and Joe Morgan reminded me of McGuire. I counted at a dozen times where Morgan brought up his own playing career unsolicited...who he talked to....who he played with, etc.
McGuire verbally flashes his coaching credentials in the same manner. Often and unsolicited.
Maybe they're told to do that as colour commentators.....maybe the majority of the viewers like it.
I can't deny their perspectives/insights....but I find human resumes very annoying.
I mean how many times does Don Cherry point at himself and say "Coach of the Year" during a season? Same thing.
-----------------------------------------
Oh yeah....thanks to TK. He was one of the few players who gave 100%.

Good luck to Tom in Carolina. They had quite the run in last year's playoffs and he's going to fit right in.
I honestly appreciate everything this guy brought to our club both on and off the ice. On the ice he actually jumped in to support Georges Laraque. Off the ice ... well, I think there might be more to this purse-snatching thing then we'll actually know ... Tom went to bat for Ryan O'Byrne and that got him a mugshot as well.
Thanks Tom! Good luck man.
Cheers.

Never had anything to complain about in Tom the Bomb Nonstopolous' stint here. He worked hard and it seemed like he was a great teammate to the lads. Too bad he was a little shy on the hockey skill side of the equation and right out of it on the pugilistic side. Cannot deny his inability to back down though.
Kudos and best of luck on a team I still cannot stand!!

Hey, Carolina's easy. Ward gets hurt and they're toast. Kinda like us if Price gets to where we want him.
