Hopefully the Sandman shakes off giving up that long bouncer and has a strong third.

Yep, the announcers are saying that Sanford had one of those bouncing pucks to contend with. He set up one way...and the puck bounced the other way.
Killer.

I didn't go. Listening online. Will go if/when they make the finals for sure. Dogs all over the Stars early...up 12-3 in shots. Stars' goalie, Matt Climie, is coming up big...and the Dogs are shooting wide as well. Climie and Benn...the reasons this series went past four games. They both have been very good. Benn is a real good one.

Even in the recent broadcasts, the ice has been getting a lot of air play. Seems to be really bad at Copps this spring. Hurts a skating puck possession team like the Dogs more than a grinding checking team.

Need a PP goal here. Can't waste these chances to get some breathing room.

Brutal break for the Dogs...but you CANNOT let a team stick around in a game this long. The story of this series!! Off Palushaj's face, how do you practice that?

ALL over....Benn scores on a two on one. Brutal finish lads.
So, Climie and Benn the difference makers again. Good for them, but bitter pill to swallow for the Dogs.

THis doesn't sound like a Boucher coached team at all. Totally dominate the game in the first 35 mins. Only up 2-0, but should be more. Sandford lets a long bouncer in with five to go in the 2nd...and the game starts to slip away after that point. Two early PP's in the third with two chances to go up 3-1 and get some breathing room, but they looked a little out of synch (or sounded a little out of synch). The last few goals...no idea if they even go in if Sandford makes that first save. Coulda, woulda, they gave it their best shot. Great season, but tough way to end. Hit the wall.

From the sounds of it....wicked bounce on the Stars' first goal....a bounce off somebody's face for their second goal.....
And Climie held the fort. It very well could've been 4-0 before that crazy bounce in the second.
A game of bounces and inches at the best of times.

27 year old goalie. Another Leighton.
Not much you can say. The team obviously outplayed Dallas, but the hockey gods wrote a different ending. They seem to like stringing us along. No coaching problem there, but 4 goals on 20 shots against didn't help.
Was Sanford playing that much better than Desjardins? Cedrick seems to win the big ones.
