Actually watched a lot of yesterday's last round to the PGA championship. My wife and I stayed tuned once we knew there was a chance Tiger Woods could be given a run for his money.
YE Yang was up to the task. His 60-foot eagle on 14 might have rattled Woods a bit I thought. But his 3-hybrid second shot on 18 was the sealer.
I can't remember Woods missing as many putts as he did yesterday and the odd thing about it was, he was missing all of them to the same side of the cup each time.
Noticed that Padriag Harrington is mortal as well. He pretty much erased a 54-hole effort on one par-3. He took a snowman (8) on the hole that dropped him from -6 to -1. He ended up finishing the tournament at even-par, which means he bogied one more hole.
Heck of a tournament though. Good on Yang. He was probably the only one I can remember who didn't self-destruct by being paired with Woods for the final round.
Cheers.

Yeah it was a great tourney, I watched Saturday and Sunday. I was hoping Yang was gonna give him a run.

I'm not sure I'll ever forget Yang's 2nd shot on 18. His name might disappear into the winds of time as soon as next year, but hitting a hybrid 3 from the short side of the fairway in the first cut of rough, over a tree and sticking it on the green 12 feet from the cup... amazing. Just a phenomenal shot that won him the championship.
