Hey fellas (and gals). I'm proud to announce the official (finally!) release of my first iPhone application, CoffeeRun. Spawned from a conversation between a friend and I and developed entirely by me from then to now, it's an application to keep track of your friends' and colleagues' coffee preferences, and make up lists so there's no need to write it all down. You can check it out in iTunes if you click this link: bit.ly/30yVfv There's no actual website yet, only a twitter account for feedback and/or support (@coffeerun) It took way too long (I had originally expected to release in June, but Apple made me redo some stuff and then they released the 3.0 operating system which messed everything up), and it's far from being totally "done" but $1 buys you the app right now (which is useful) and a lifetime of upgrades which will include push notifications for coffee runs, an Adobe Air application for those without iPhones/iPods, and being able to share profiles/preferences without adding them manually. I know a few of you guys have an iPhone or iPod, so you should check it out! I'm pretty modest about it, but I'm proud. So is my buddy Scott, who did the images and color styling. By all means, feedback is appreciated and encouraged!

A complimentary application whilst picking up drive-thru foodstuffs would be a decent idea too, if it hasn't been done yet. Nice build, RS. I don't have an iPhone nor an iPod touch, but I'm still going to add it to Twitter. Way to go Red!!!! Tim's just became way easier and less stressful trying to read my wife's chicken scratches!!! Yeah we're looking at ways to make it better, and want to include stuff like doughnuts and muffins. After we allow people to transmit profiles, we will also add the ability to add foodstuffs as well. Eventually I'd like to turn it into an all-purpose lunch and coffee app, but that's a ways down the road. I've got lots of techie fun stuff to do first. Thanks for the support, everyone!

What? You're not supposed to dilute green tea! I'm not sure what you mean. At Tim Horton's, when you order green tea, 2 tea bags is suppose to be standard. But at some they try to give you one, unless you ask for the second. Two tea bags doesn't dilute it, it makes it stronger ... but I always forget to make sure that they put 2 tea bags in there

What? You're not supposed to dilute green tea! I'm not sure what you mean. When you said she has to throw a "monkey wrench" I thought you meant that it had to have a certain (excessive) amount of sugar, cream/milk, etc. Anyway, Red, I write part-time for a website that specializes in technology articles, including app reviews for iPhone/iPod Touch. I'll try to see if I can get in touch with one of the editors from that department to see if they'll be willing to do a review of your app.

CoffeeRun still rather simple and lacks the real utility I want to provide. I'm adding in profiles, developing a website (coffeerunonline.com) and implementing the ability to notify other users via push notifications. When I get to releasing the next release in a couple months, I'd love to have a review if the offer remains. Thanks, though!

RS, I got a positive response back for having a review done (won't be by me, obviously, for more than one reason: no iPhone + conflict of interest). Just let me know when it's okay to proceed.
