Got a chance to see him play in intermissions and after Habs game as Sportsnet showed Owen Sound vs. Barrie. Owen Sound was up 5-2 in the Third but blew it big time and lost 6-5 in OT. Deveaux is quite the physical presence on the ice, hard to knock off the puck, hard to move infront of the net and willing to take the beating infront, good along the boards and corners digging for the puck once again using his size to his advantage, 6'5, 220. He seems to be a good skater and puck carrier for his size. He also got in 2 fights I only saw the second one and it was pretty quick both got a few decent shots in but Deveaux is the one who dropped, probly tired from his first fight. Commentators seemed to like Deveaux as well, they felt he looked like an NHLer out there tonight. He was played at the end of the crucial game, so the coach obvioulsy has faith in him defencivley, pretty sure he leads his team in +/-. Deveaux finished the game with 1 assist,14 minuets in penalties and a -2 but two of the goals he was on for were at the end when Barrie had the extra man. Anyone else see any of this game and have any evaluation on his game?
