Mark Flood on TV tonight

Was watching the Bulldogs game and noticed advertisment for game there showing tonight on Sportsnet Peterbourough vs. Oshawa. Good chance to see the recently drafted d-man prospect play.

Just so you know if your watching Flood is #5 on the Peterborough defence.

After one period 4-1 Petes, Flood playing well, good in own end and along the boards, see's PP and PK time, especially good on PP. Commentators were saying Flood was the most improved Pete's player and one of the most improved in the whole OHL this season, he's leading Pete's defencmen in scoring and top 15 in whole league. They also mentioned that A. Savard watched one of his games this year and was very happy with the way his game has progressed since we drafted him. So nothing but good things said about Flood. So far Flood has 1 assist is a +2.

Games over Pete's won 5-4. Flood played a good game overall. Good in his own end and other teams end. Used in all situations PP and PK, especially good on PP. Played against other teams top line (Eagers), was on at the end of the game which was crucial as it was close and stood up for his goalie when Eager slashed him. Pretty good first passes but somtimes trys a long pass out of his end which doesn't always work, good along the boards especially on one occasion where he kept the puck in at the blueline on the PP, not to physical but physical when he has to be along the boards in his on end, needs to bulk up a bit and maybe will be more physical then. Pretty good puck carrier and skater but usually dishes off puck to a forward before long, probly carry puck longer when he gets more experienced and more confident. I was overall pretty impressed with his play. He finished with one assist, a +1 and 2 penalty minuets(coincidental, sticking up for his goalie).
