Personally, I love these things... www.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/columnist/woodlief/2003-12-23-woodlief_x.htmQuite the slamming of Robbie Schremp... Doesn't appear to be as many power forwards available this year, as there was last year. Cripes, last year every 2nd prospect seemed to be over 210lbs... Overall though, doesn't appear to be all that great a draft, outside the top 3-5. Andre Savard have his work cut out for him?

Good read, thanks. It always helps to have a tourney like the WJC to get the interest in the draft eligible players all cranked up again. Nothing quite like bringing all the best (Schremp excepted lol) U20 players together in one tourney to gauge their abilities against their peers. Looks like the preliminary rankings already have a much more European flavour than last year. That means North American fans will be much more reliant on these types of reports on players that we likely won't see after the WJC.

Thanks BC. Nice to see the Mooseheads young goalie getting praise (Jason Churchill). He's one of the few positives in a tough year for hockey in Halifax.
