Just looking at good ol St. John's, NL high schools .... www.hockeyclubhouse.com/gonzagavikings/Gonzaga Vikings .... hmmmm that looks familiar And my alma mater .... Booth Braves, looks an awful lot like Chicago Blackhawks. |

Yeah, but you can't expect townies to come up with something imaginative and unique (The MCHS Clippers have their own logo - it's as ugly as hell, but it's their own). Seriously though, it's not quite the same comparing a high school (particularly in Newfoundland) to a university that plays NCAA Division I hockey. Not that there's anything wrong with it I guess, since it's been that way for awhile, but I'm just surprised that the lawyers aren't involved. |
