This one caught my eye; in a Saudi Arabian version of American Idol, where contestants recite poetry instead of sing songs, a burka-clad woman stood up, on live TV, and recited a blistering poem against hardline Islamic clerics. Not only was she cheered loudly by the 2000 people in attendance, but the judges gave her the highest marks, and telephone voting propelled her into the final round. We have this perception of “them” and certainly some of “them” fit that perception… but it seems there are a good deal more looking for change… www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35989306/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa/

A very well-spoken lady BC. Thanks.
I'm at work right now but there's also a You Tube video of a Muslim lady who is constantly questioning the motives and teachings of radical Islam.
Off the top of my head I'm thinking of sending this off to Pat Condell and Salim Mansur ... two polar-opposites.

Poetry contests on most popular TV shows? Poets with fan base akin to Rock Stars... Poets with strong human messages... Meanwhile we have David Hasselhof and Sharon Osborne judging Boy Shakira and arm pits farts contest... (okay, okay, I'm missing the point but gee...)
