Going to get Mrs Dis back to Quebec City this year sometime between July 8-18 for the Quebec City Summer Festival. We had a great time last year. Here's the link for when you have time.

Every weekend there's always something going on in Kingston. I'll post some events when I have more time.

What about your neck of the woods? Doesn't just have to be in Canada.

something going on in Ottawa every weekend, too . . . probably to make up for the nothing that happens on Parliament Hill through the year [I've never heard of some of the festivals on!]

Herbie Hancock, Smokey Robinson, David Sanborn, and George Benson at the Ottawa Jazz Festival

Iron Maiden [huh?], Weezer [huh?], B52s, Steve Winwood, Santana at Bluesfest [let me see if there are actually any blues acts . . . yup, a few]

I'll head out to a few Jazz acts I imagine, wind up getting the full pass for Bluesfest [Father's Day gift], and be dragged out make nice go out with my wife to the Tulip Festival

Well seeing as nothing ever good happens here, and I pretty much had my lifetimes share of blueberry festivals, strawberry festivals, festival of friends and salmon festivals ... I'll be heading to Toronto to catch that great bluesband, Iron Maiden, in July. My first Canada Day spent off the island (where it is more a Memorial Day than Canada Day).
