Saw this before. Didn't watch it all the way through. Maybe a dismounted infantry company can use it to clear minefields without having to call in the engineers. However, I really don't know what the uses would be to be honest.
=============================================================
Check out "Metal Storm" if you want to see the de-humanization of warfare. It never jams because it only has one moving part ... the bullet. It can be remoted and either deliberately fired from a distance or its sensors can be set to fire automatically. Therefore, no soldiers have to man it like traditional crew-served weapons. The machine gun version can fire 16,000 rounds per second. It can also fire grenades automatically as well.
Words that come to mind; ruthless, efficient and utilitarian.

Contrary to what the person who posted that says, I believe the robot is intended as a pack animal, not as a hunter.
