Alex Henry resigned

According to the Canadiens' website, Bulldogs defenceman Alex Henry was resigned to a 2 year 2 way contract. He's 30 years old and was the Bulldogs' captain last year. So, a veteran and a leader who has had some games in the NHL.

I was really hoping they would be able to sign him again, as he was the team leader in Hamilton in many ways. He is not the least bit afraid to drop the mitts and stand up for his lads. With the Dogs having such a young team this year, some veteran leadership was critical. No need to find a new captain for the next two seasons!!
