Take the opportunity to ask some questions you want to know about Canadiens prospect and CHL MVP Corey Locke. Ask away! Not many ever get to do this! I will be accepting questions for Corey Locke over the next 2 days, and I will be sitting down with him on the 11th of Feb for a Q & A session with the questions you want answered. I'm not sure how many questions this will generate so I might have to limit the number Corey answers [time restraints etc] but I will try to ask all I can and post the answers in my article the first chance I get. There are rules to such an opportunity, and not following them will get the questions eliminated from consideration. All questions asked will be at my discretion, so try these simple pointers. 1. Try to keep the topic to hockey only. I know it sounds easy but you wouldn't believe the questions I have seen asked before. 2. Do not be negative towards the player, his skills, or his current team [Ottawa 67's]. Please email your questions for Corey Locke to me at : mgod4@yahoo.ca Don't forget to leave your forum Id in the email, I will post the Id with the question in an article on www.montrealcanadiens.ca in the Penalty Box section, when it is finished.

I will try to ask these without being negative.
1) How did the head coaches of the World Canadian Junior teams explain to you why they cut/overlooked you both times, even though you were the CHL's leading scorer?
2) What have you done to improve your game, so that the Canadien management will give you a spot on the roster?
3) The knock against you is size. What aspects of your game do you feel will overcome that size disadvantage to make you a NHL player?

Good read, Habitforming. Thanks.
A brief Junior career statistical comparison with a player similar to Locke, who is enjoying a decent season with the Habs:
Ribeiro Regular season - 159 games, 125-216-341, 2.14 ppg Playoffs - 28 games, 11-32-43, 1.54 ppg
Locke Regular season - 171 games, 122-165-287, 1.68 ppg Playoffs - 36 games, 25-26-51, 1.42 ppg
Good luck to Corey. I hope he goes to the Dogs in the near future.
