shht... don't say it too loud but it seems like Hossa woke up recently... Marcel has scored 5 goals in the past 5 games with two double goal nights...
Where does Hossa ranks in our top prospect list... Could he still be the top line scorer we need so badly? A lot of us have lost confidence in him... me included... but. But. He has size, speed, above average hands...
His trade value may get higher as he scores more goals in the AHL... I would give him another look before pulling the trigger on any trade involving him... Sometimes a player takes longer to develop but when he does, the results can be surprising.
So, what do you guys think? Trade him while he's hot? Be patient?

More likely Hossa has heard rumours of a possible trade and decided to put some effort into his play so he can be traded.

Yup, he's now got five goals and five assists in his last eight games. But he hasn't been very consistent in that span. He's got four multiple point games and three pointless games, with just the one single point game.

I'd deal him for a 2nd round pick, ASAP.
We have other forwards coming up, and Marcel just hasn't shown me enough to be worth investing icetime to develop him.

As long as he keeps playing well it's win-win for him and the Habs.
