Peeling away the barbarity onion that is practised under the banner of Islam.... What is missing from the article is the graphic display of how woman are "prepared" for stoning. I've heard it said that Islam is 400 years behind Christianity when it comes to treating people with dignity . . . which doesn't say much for Christianity either, does it? Institutional hierarchy, the bane of what is intended .

My beef is with the Muslim moderates who don't take any action to marginalize these actions. Occasional letters to the editor and a speech here or there doesn't cut it. How about some MARCHES? You know, get out there in the streets and DENOUNCE the barbarism. Tell the entire world that you have had enough of the fundamentalist barbarism and hatred and you wont stand for it anymore. Until they choose to take it to the streets, moderate Muslims majority failure to forcefully denounce is a sign of complicity to these heinous barbarians. |
