Yeah just read that. Awesome job and another boost to his confidence that seems to have taken a lovely turnaround.
And Carey getting the NHL's 2nd star of the month too.
Was a good one for both players.
Congrats and lots more of the same!!

It sounds like Max Pac is pissed off and working hard to prove his detractors wrong. If getting him motivated is the right thing, then he will have a great complete year in the AHL. At that point he will be ready to assume a leadership role with the Habs first line or be a tradeable commodity if he is too pissed off at Hab's management. Good luck in Hamilton! Work hard and be ready for a new role next year. I really think he did the right thing by refusing to be yo-yoed up and down like Weber. Hope he remains in the organization.

MaxPac and David Desharnais now tied for second in AHL scoring, 3 points behind the league leader Andrew Gordon. Those two have some serious chemistry going on.

It's no coincidence that Max is putting up the points playing with Desharnais. The little guy can flat out play hockey. I'd go so far, as to say, he would be just as good if not better than Gomez right now. think of the cap room we could have ;D

In my mind, Max proved last year that he could keep up and play with the fast skaters, just no one was taking notice ....

I'd like to see him on Gomer's wing soon. Call him up for few games over the course of the year to get him re-acquainted with the nhl pace. Does he have to clear waivers next year? If so the ahl-nhl yo-yo won't be an option.

I was hoping he'd play in the NHL this year, for most it anyway for two reasons ... one - IMO, he earned it. And two - if Leblanc is ready next year, we'd have no room for two rookie forwards looking for top six minutes.

Patience, Skilly. It's not unusual for a young player to be called up later in the season (Subban for example). It could easily happen to Patches, and he would be ready by then.
I would not put him with Gomez, though, not the way Scott is simply not creating chances for his wingers. Put him with Eller, or Pleks if you really want him to succeed.

The only place where Patches should be playing with Gomez is in Hamilton!!!! If they can sit PK why not Gomez and Gill?
