Last night the Ottawa 67's were netcast. It was the first time I watched a netcast and although it wasn't as clear as TV, you could definitely see and enjoy the play.
1. Corey Locke is one of my favorites in the farm team, moving up to #1 with the departure of Balej.
2. He is small (we all knew that) but not that much smaller than a few of his teamates.
3. He impressed me with his quickness (lightning reflexers and first two strides).
4. Overall I wasn't that impressed with this game but he did record two goals and an assist.
5. He pads his stats by concentrating on offense. He is invisible until he smells goal and then he's a wolverine that smells a weak rabbit.
6. He's lead the OHL in scoring two years in a row. Last year from day 1 on a powerful team and this year on a weak team that he leads. He has the drive to succede and that counts for more than a couple of inches of height. He will make it! Gainey please don't trade him for Rucinsky.
