Packers are the early favourites, or at least they were last night. Here's an updated season rundown for each team on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XLV#Green_Bay_PackersCouldn't ask for anything more of the Packers this year. The defence kept them in the game against the Bears. Going to be a tough game two weeks from now. Cheers.

Christina Aguilera totally forgot the 4th line of the National Anthem.
Basically re-sang the second line.
Inexcusable.

I admit, I wanted Roethlisberger to fail....but he has come up very large in the second half.
As has Rodgers.
3 pt. difference with around 7:00 to go.
EDIT:
Congrats to the Packers and their fans.
Very entertaining Super Bowl.

Twenty-one points from turnovers is what killed the Steelers, IMHO. Wasn't sure of the Packer chances when Driver, Shields and Woodson went down, but Shields came back to play.
Pittsburgh exploited Woodson's absence by running the ball entirely on one of the Pittsburgh drives. But, a Clay Matthews tackle results in a fumble and the Mendenhall threat was over.
Check out Packers' linebacker coach, Kevin Green, when you can. He played with Pittsburgh for years and is still as intense as he ever was. They showed Green motivating Clay Matthews by saying, "... it's time ... it's time ..." Matthews promptly went out and caused a Pittsburgh fumble ... that led to more points.
Good game, could have been a great game, by Jordy Nelson. Nine catches and four drops.
Very, VERY happy as a Packers fan right now. Will be heading to work a bit under the weather, but it's all part of the process.
Cheers.

A good friend of mine is from Wisconsin and is a huge Packers fan. She even has a Brett Favre autographed jersey. It must be good times at her house tonight.
I was very concerned too, after those key injuries, that GB wouldn't be able to keep it up, and the Steelers looked like they were coming on, especially after that first touchdown early in the 2nd half. Being superstititous, I went out to clear the driveway, and it worked with the Packers defence stiffening and Rodgers coming through with key plays.
I'm not much of a Roethlisberger fan, but he had to be in pain with that wonky knee. Not much of a rocket scientist, but he really has shown perseverence and he's a big, strong palooka. Sure glad the Steelers didn't win. My one hope out of 4 since the semis and they came through. Woohoo!

Check out Packers' linebacker coach, Kevin Green, when you can. He played with Pittsburgh for years and is still as intense as he ever was. Greene was a longtime Ram as well. My favorite Green moment though actually came when he was a Steeler: Right before some game was about to start Greene runs over to the stands where his wife was sitting for a pre-game kiss, which she gives to him. He then turns back to the field and in a fiery display of that intensity you mentioned starts jumping up and down and screaming, getting all psyched up. But he stops, because his wife is yelling at him to come back to the stands. So he does, no doubt wondering what the heck she wants, and why she is disturbing him at this key moment in his game day preparation. She leans over and... wipes her lipstick off his cheek. Imagine that? Heading out to do battle as one of the most feared warriors in the rough and tumble NFL with a lipstick pucker on your cheek? I thought for sure the Steelers were going to come back and win it on the last drive. Hollywood karma or something. Alas, the Packers held on, and for that I am happy. I like Aaron Rodgers. Now if only Sam Bradford turns into the next Rodgers...

Quite the story with Kevin Green. I may have heard that one before, BC, but it's another good story. "... it's time ... it's time ..." I heard one announcer say a few weeks ago that Green is still as intense now, as he was as a player.
Branford has quite the future, BC. He's possibly the youngest-looking player in the league when he has his helmet on. However, he's got potential coming out his ears. Now, if he gets the supporting cast he'll be tough to stop.
Speaking of youth, the Packers are the second-youngest team in the league. They pulled this off with 11 regulars on the IR and I'd like to see how they do with a full lineup. Already looking forward to next season.
Cheers.

I noticed about 5 or 6 guys in the front row all wearing Habs jerseys. Liked the representation. ;D

Cool how they lead the viewer to believe that it was, in fact, the dad who started the car. Can't believe they'd make a commercial featuring a dad starting his car with his child standing right in front of it. Especially without a disclaimer. i.e. CAR DID NOT ACTUALLY START. COMEDIC PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT BE THIS IRRESPONSIBLE.

Really hope the NFL can sort out its issues during the off-season. I really want to see some NFL next year, more so because of the awesome potential the Packers have.
It starts at quarterback with Aaron Rogers. The guy is a specimen and he's only going to get better. What he missed the most Super Bowl Sunday, was a receiver corps that could consistently hold onto the ball. Countless dropped passes that would have made the game a blowout (IMHO anyway). The backup QB is Matt Flynn who broke several Mississippi U records.
The receiving corps is interesting. I have no idea whether Donald Driver will be back or not, but he was one of Rogers' more reliable receivers. There's always a place for veterans like him anyway. According to Rogers, TE Jermichael Finley is the best in the league at his position. He was injured for most of the season and was sorely missed. Greg Jennings is also a reliable target as well. However, Green Bay's strength this year was their depth. Donald Lee and Jordy Nelson were extremely reliable receivers but both of them had their share of dropped passes.
The backfield consisted of FB John Kuhn with RBs Ryan Grant (injured), James Starks and, the sometimes forgotten, Brandon Jackson. If I could find one concern with Jackson's game it would have to be that he doesn't hit the line with the same speed as Grant and Starks to. However, opposition defences have to be aware when he's on the field. He's usually good for one or two significant screen passes a game.
The defence corps is this team's biggest overall asset, IMHO. Clay Matthews, AJ Hawk, Desmond Bishop and Frank Zombo head an excellent LB corps that was lacking inside LB Nick Barnett.
The secondary is loaded starting with CB Charles Woodson. The 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year continues to show why he's so valuable to the club. During half-time and with a broken collarbone, it was Woodson who reminded his club that the Steelers were coming on, but they were stoppable. Nick Collins, Sam Shields (who bumped Al Harris out of a job), Tramon Williams and Jarrett Bush round out the secondary that should be returning in tact.
Great job by the Packers this year. I'm hoping to see them playing next year as well, but we'll have to see.
Cheers.
