I was at the Halifax Mooseheads last home game of the season last night. They played the Rocket. Pretty good game. Final score was 2-2. Lambert scored both goals for the Rocket, and was the best player on either team. He has an amazing shot. His second goal was a shot from just inside the blue line. He wired it top shelf from the middle of the ice. His first goal was a blast while skating down the LW. Churchill should have stopped it, but it went under his right arm.
Urquhart did little to impress me. While Lambert was buzzing all over the place, Cory was largely invisible. Lapierre I barely noticed. Bonneau was in the middle of most of the post whistle activity but that's it. Some that did notice off the Rocket roster were Noye and Persson. Tyler Noye is a 20 year old defenceman. His number don't suggest a good puck mover, but Tyler has good hands, vision, and skates well. He led a couple of effective rushes. He also has good size - 6'2 and 215. Jonathan Persson impressed me with his speed. He skates like an NHLer. He didn't show much else though.
