Hard to believe somebody that is a known fake could get that big. Even harder to believe veteran hockey media members like Pananico are taking a liking to his "entrepreneur spirit".
Eklund must make major coin doing his act though. I will agree there.

that's one scary heading . . . but at least is isn't "BC Exposed' or *shudder* "HA Exposed"!

I don't visit his site and when his name comes up in rumours I ignore the post and if I happen to overhear one of his scoops, I won't even discuss it elsewhere.
He's done well, though. He took on a very recognizable handle, got involved in what people like; talking about rumours and he seems to be on everyone's radar. Heck, TSN even had him on one year for draft day.
Having said that, he hasn't made a nickle off me.
Cheers.

I don't visit his site, or pay him much credence.
Spectorshockey.net, who over the years has had reasonable respect around blog circles, did a piece about Eklund. It was written neither to condemn or deify. The gist of it was that yeah, he's in it to make money and there's nothing inherently wrong with that, and he does have a few sources (or did at the time the article was written) that are credible.

Eklund does have INS, that's certain but the thing is to keep a rumor site going 365 days, you obviously have to get creative most of the time.
