The talent level of both farm teams is barely even comparable.

I wouldn't care if we were the 76-77 Habs and the Leafs were the 70's versions, I'd still enjoy beating them.

He sure is. He's got 11 goals and 7 assists in 20 games since returning from injury. I wonder if the rest helped him? It's a long season compared to college hockey.

I seen the 2 games against the Baby Leafs ...and to tell you the truth ... my friends and I were not that impressed by Higgins. In the first game he wasn't even noticeable on the ice. And when he touched the puck he seemed tentative, he showed great eye hand coordination, and seemed to have a good work ethic .... but he was on the ice as soon as he was touched and the puck (I felt) was taken from him way too easy. The second game he had 2 goals and an assist, but again he didn't really impress me. He is a good hockey player, but I don't think he should be penciled in on the Habs second line next year .... I am leaning more towards the fourth or third line.
The most impressive player to me in the two games was Plekanec. He was flying and setting up everybody .... literally .... because Jarvis was juggling the lines all night long. But it didn't matter who Plekanec was on with, he always seemed to be creating space and flying up and down the ice. He remined me of a smaller version of Koivu. (not small as in size, but small as in he isn't as good as Koivu but he gives it his all each and every shift).
