Just watched the replay of the UFC Light-Heavyweight Championship fight between challenger, Jon "Bones" Jones and (former) champions, Mauricio Rua. I don't know if Rua actually knew what hit him last night. I first mentioned Jones a few years back when I saw him at UFC 94 (Penn vs GSP). I thought he was something special back then. As it is now, I believe that it will be hard to leave out Jones in the same sentence as GSP and/or Anderson Silva, when describing the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport. Jones is an incredibly talented, unorthodox fighter who is rapidly making a case for being the poster boy for MMA. Unbelievable dominance over Rua, who is acknowledged as one of the sport's most dangerous light-heavyweights. Here's the final between Jones and Rua. www.mma-core.com/videos/_UFC_128_Jon_Jones_vs_Mauricio_Rua?vid=10017827&tid=100Cheers.
