A big-time "wrastler" as my wife's grandfather would say. I used to frequent the "Grand Prix Wrestling" shows while growing up in Ottawa in the 70's. I eventually grew out of it, but professional wrestling used to be one of the more popular events when I lived overseas. The mess would be packed hours before the feed came in. That was in the late 80's and Randy Savage was one of WWF's greatest heroes. RIP Randy and thanks for the entertainment. You were one hell of a "wrastler." slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2011/05/20/18172926.html (link)

RIP to a great entertainer . . . and let's face it, that's what wrastlin' is [except for Mad Dog and the Butcher, of course].
blasphemy, perhaps, but had to laugh at the "wining and losing the title" talk.

And lo, it came to pass that Macho Man Randy Savage did prevent the impending rapture. Amen.

Oooooooooooooooooo .... no. RIP Randy Poffo. I read somewhere that he was about to celebrate the first anniversary of his marriage. Shame. Too many Slim Jim's ... and steroids.
