Hamilton dressed 8 defencemen and 10 forwards last night. Wow, those forwards would have been tired.

Hamilton used Rene Vydareny on the 4th line last night. I'm not sure why Olvestad and Dwyer didn't dress as forwards, unless they're hurt (we never seem to get any info on injuries).
The Dog's couldn't seem to cope with the size of Rochester. They didn't use their speed the way they have to to win games against big teams. Hopefully they'll pick it up tonight.
Not a great crowd on hand (especially considering the Dogs are the only professional game in town east of Calgary now!). Only 2,331 in attendance, and a lot of those were Rochester fans. They made more noise than the Bulldog fans. Guess postponing game 1 so it wouldn't conflict with the Maple Laffs didn't make any difference.

Lost Game 1, shut out. We need Alex. Won't be anytime soon.

I think each team submits a list of players that they can choose to dress for the playoffs, but if all our forwards are injured, can't we use one of our players who played junior or college this year? I so, we would have a lot of talent to choose from.

Dogs lose again, only 1 goal scored so far and it was a SH by Pleks.

Dogs lose again, only 1 goal scored so far and it was a SH by Pleks. How do the AHL playoffs work, is it like the NHL, or are the next 3 games in Rochester? I can't remember. And what are your thoughts about Plekanec possibly replacing Juneau as a center next year. Maybe even Dowd on the fourth with Pleks centering Bulis and Ward? I went to 5 games this year, 4 of them in Toronto, and I think you are aware of the Dog's preformances in T.O. But no matter how bad the team played, Pleks always showed up, he was always competing hard. He's a bit short, but he's solid. I hope Gainey gives him a long look at camp.
