SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (CP) - Hamilton Bulldogs forward Alexander Perezhogin will learn his punishment Friday for a stick-swinging attack on Cleveland Barons defenceman Garrett Stafford during an AHL playoff game last week.
League president David Andrews will announce the disciplinary action Friday morning in Springfield.
Perezhogin, whose NHL rights belong to the Montreal Canadiens, was suspended indefinitely following the incident in Hamilton last Friday.
