Just a rumor... but some are saying they have seen the rumor on CTV Calgary.
Iginla & Gauthier for Hainsey, Bulis, and 2 or 3 picks.
We'll see.... it would obviously be a hell of a trade, and it would be "a shocker" as Molsonman had predicted.
But call me skeptical.... to ay the least.
But it's not totally impossible either that we trade for Iggy, if we were ready to get Nolan for 6.5M we must be ready to pay Iggy... and we DO have young assets we can trade although to me the proposed deal simply isn't enough... depending on what the picks are.
Take it for what it is... another rumor for our entertainment.

Keep in mind that Zed is now on the block, as is Ribs. This gives a lot of bargaining power to AS. This may not be so far from the truth after all!!!

You got that right. I don't think that any deal would involve both Iginla and Gauthier....but I can see a Zed, Hainsey and a pick deal for Iginla alone. Let's not forget that the Flames don't "have" to deal him, so he will be expensive. But I think he is worth the money.

Who cares what round those picks are, if you got 2 first rounders and all it'll take is your third best-looking prospect on D on top of that to land JAROME IGINLA, you do it!
