I wondered what the Habs would do after Columbus folded their tent. With Dallas sending up to 6 players over, some of our younger prospects may benefit from easing in at the ECHL level than from going back to the CHL or else sitting in the press box in Hamilton. Good move.

We now have an affiliation with a whole pack of Dogs.

Not that I know of. The Ice Dogs stunk last year, and I don't recall them having any NHL prospects on the team other then Marios and maybe a few others.



Edit: here's their roster from last season. You can see why they were the 3rd worst team in the ECHL last year with only 23 wins.
