That's good news. Another solid signing by the Habs.
Gainey certainly seems to have a focus and continues to build strength in the organization at all levels.

I've heard good things about this guy, it's good to hear that he's under contract.
Now I know that he was on a Bulldogs contract last year. But I think he was an invitee to one of our previous development camps. Can anyone recap Cote's history with the Habs' organisation?

Drafted by the leafs in '00, 9th round, played well at the U-18's, but not so well in the Q. Habs gave him an invite as an overager, he didn't get a contract, but was invited to the Dogs camp where Savard signed him for 1 year. He had a solid season playing with Traverse at times I believe. Looked solid at the development camp, not the most skilled guy but a gritty hard working player who plays a physical game and can drop the gloves.

Late-bloomer, perhaps? Should do well.
