The guy gets hurt a lot but he's reliable for 60 games. Likes to hit. Had 235 of them last year with Dallas. Edmonton boy to boot ... who knows ... might reflect in an increase to his hit total.

I like this move. Edmonton's defense needed help and while Fistric is not a Norris Trophy candidate, he can clear the front of the net and is one tough dude. I wonder if they want to pair him with Schultz?

I agree 17. It gives them something they were in short supply of and for not a huge cost.
