No wonder we admired these guys and could count on them every night to give it 100%. Talk about character. Different times. $7000 ($100/game) as a rookie. An extra $1000 because he won the Calder.
One of the best Habs of all-time NOT in the Hall of Fame.
A third-line centre (behind Beliveau and H. Richard) who likely could've been a #1 or #2 centre on some of the other teams. No wonder those Habs won so many Cups or were always in the running.
