I should have been perceptive enough to work this out earlier, but Alex Perezhogin's 1 year AHL suspension is truly meaningless. Obviously, Gainey expected that the NHL season would be scrapped, so Alex in a Habs uni was not going to happen. He's probably too good for the AHL at this point too. So if you were facing this scenario, where would you want Alex to be? How about the RSL, which will be amongst the best non NHL leagues in existence? Better and faster than the AHL, and an excellent stepping stone so that when the Habs get going again, Alex is readier than ever to take one of those top 2 right wing positions. The only hurdle is that silly charge.
How long is the statute of limitations on bopping a twit?

what interests me the most at this point is why hasn't Alex played for Avangard yet? we've heard he'd been to Hamilton for a hearing but that was, what, 20 days ago? does anybody know when his next appearance in court is?
