With low expectations for the Rocket, they are surprising fans by showing that they are a well coached team. Tonighs game saw Lapierre pick up 4 assists on the night, in a 5-2 Rocket win on the road against Cape Brenton. Lapierre also had 4 pims, was a +3 and had 4 shots on goal. Lapierre setup Bonneau for his 1st of the year, as Bonneau also dropped the gloves for the 2nd game in a row, even though he's not supposed to due to two different set of stiches obtained at the rookie camp. From the sound of it he taught the young man a lesson in fist a cuffs, as the poor lad didn't get in one punch.
So far Danny Stewart is a -2, as Rimouski is getting shelled by the Sags. no pts for him yet tonight.

Wheels, size, character and now he's adding scoring. Even if he never becomes anything but an average scorer he can play for me anytime.
And to get him we had to give up that tremendously talented guy with the great bloodlines...what was his name?....you know, soft, lethargic....oh yeah, Eric, Eric Chouinard. That trade is looking really good on Bobby Clarke. Hopefully it will irritate him for 15 years.
