I think Ron's gonna have a big year on the farm and once hockey resumes he'll establish himself as an offensive threat in the NHL. All he needs in confidence, he has never been given a lot of it by management or the coaching staff. This extra time in the AHL will help him and he'll be ready to bump Bouillon aside once the NHL starts up again.

Otherwise, another Houle first rounder will have gone down in flames, leaving only Hossa.

And we have such high hopes for him.

I hope you're right. Otherwise, another Houle first rounder will have gone down in flames, leaving only Hossa. I'm what you might call an optimist, but I see Hainsey as the last hope already, I just have not been impressed with the effort that Marcel Hossa has put forth thus far in his career. Atleast Hainsey can tear up the AHL, Hossa was a secondary threat to Plekanec and even rookies like Perezhogin and Higgins in the AHL. Hossa has the talent, there's no disputing that but I'm continually unimpressed by his efforts, and with the abundance of offensive prospects we have already at his level or close that are younger, I just don't see a spot for him in this clubs future.
