Bulldogs offered Killer a contract

According to Sportsnet, and being debated on some of the other sites, the Dogs offered Dougie Gilmour a one-year deal to suit up with the Dogs this year. This could be in response to the immediate need of veteran presence on what is clearly a very young (but talented) team in what should be a bit of a super-charged AHL this season. Management could also be looking to lure Dougie into some sort of assistant coaching role in Hamilton once Jarvis moves up to Montreal. Interesting news (albeit a day or two old), about the farm.
